When I worked in a television news room, it took so long to boot up our computers that we were told to never turn them off in case the next shift needed them for a breaking story. Today I work primarily out of my home office. I used to consume a full cup of coffee every morning, waiting for my desktop to wake up, but I%u2019ve found some time saver

Dave Pirkola, my trusty comic book purveyor, was shot Friday night in a robbery attempt in his store. He's a good guy, and needs help. I don't know much more than the news sites, but I do know that he's 'stable' yet 'critical.'

A Blogger is just performing Quality Management on the world’s content, and whilst sometimes it can have disastrous consequences it should be heralded as a step forward in the free information age.
